Pete Davidson arrived at NBCUniversal’s upfronts presentation in New York on Monday, to make a very special announcement about his new show.

While taking to the stage, the Saturday Night Live funnyman revealed for the first time that The Sopranos star Edie Falco will be playing his mother in a new series for Peacock that is based on his own life, titled Bupkis.

However, before the introduction, the boyfriend of Kim Kardashian couldn’t help but make a joke about the current interest into his love life, quipping: ‘I am here so that the media will start paying attention to me.’

Big reveal: Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson jokes he wants the media to ‘start paying attention to me’… as he reveals Edie Falco will play his mom in new show based on his life

Variety reports that Pete, 28, added on stage: ‘I’ve done a lot of projects that reference my life because that’s kind of all I can do.’

‘One of the things that sucks about that though is my family members, they often get to play themselves because of, you know, the low budget situation.’

‘So, my mom is starting to think of herself as a real actress. And that’s why it makes me extremely happy to get to introduce the woman who will be playing my mom — Edie Falco.’

Falco then took to the stage to talk about the role – and gave a reference to playing mob wife Carmela Soprano.

‘Finally, I get to play an overwhelmed mother of two living in a world of corruption. Except this time, it’s Staten Island,’ Falco said, before joking: ‘So when is it that I get the free Peacock password? That’s where it’s streaming right?’

Davidson then got a little bit rude as he joked: ‘We’re going to be on Peacock streamer that’s responsible for so many great shows like MacGruber and the reruns of The Office. So look out for our new show streaming on the ‘Cock. Talk talking about getting ready to be filled with long six stories!’

The comedian has seen his celebrity profile sky rocket over the past six months thanks in large part to his relationship with Kim Kardashian, arguably one of the most famous women on the planet.

It’s given him a lot to talk about as well, after using the drama involving Kim’s ex Kanye West as joke material for his standup.

It was recently revealed how Davidson compared West, 44, to Mrs. Doubtfire in his new Netflix comedy special, making light of the custody drama between his girlfriend and her ex-husband.

Give them some attention! Pete’s fame has sky-rocketed since dating Kim Kardashian, who he attended this year’s Met Gala with in NYC

Earlier this year, West made a string of accusations that Kardashian, 41, was preventing him from having full access to their four children; North, sight, Saint, six, Chicago, four and Psalm, three.

In a move that is sure to enrage the rapper, SNL funnyman Davidson devotes a segment in Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival where he admits to ‘secretly hoping’ that Kim’s ex-husband ‘pulls a Mrs. Doubtfire.’

‘Does anyone else secretly hope that, like, Kanye pulls like a Mrs. Doubtfire?’ Pete tells the laughing crowd in a clip that was released Friday.

‘I come home one day and they’re like, this is the new housekeeper. And he’s like, “What’s up fam?”

The joke is relation to the 1993 family comedy that sees Robin Williams playing a recently divorced man who dresses up as a female housekeeper in order to spend time with his children.

The set was filmed on April 30 at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, with Kim in attendance at the show.
