A-lister Kim Kardashian could soon be roaming Australian streets as her new beau is set to star in a movie filmed in the Sunshine state.

Renowned US comedian Pete Davidson, 28, will feature in the comedy Wizards! with production scheduled to start later this year in Queensland.

The movie, written by David Michôd, follows the comical exploits of two hapless beach-bar operators, played by Davidson and Franz Rogowski, who run into trouble when they stumble across stolen loot.

It is expected to generate about $14.7 million into the state‘s economy and create about 100 jobs for Queensland cast and crew, as well extras work for almost 300 people.

Davidson and Kardashian, 41, began dating after the reality TV sensation’s slip with ex-husband Kanye West.

The couple met when the mother of four made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live! in October last year.

During the show, the pair made headlines after they kissed during a skit.

With Davidson filming in Queensland, it could prompt the billionaire business woman to temporarily move to the Sunshine state to be with him.

Producers from Brad Pitt’s company Plan B Entertainment Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner of Brad as well as Sydney-based See-Saw Films‘s Liz Watts will jointly work on the movie.

Ms Watts said Queensland was an ideal fit for the upcoming film.

“We are thrilled to be bringing David Michôd’s next feature to Queensland with its wealth of talent in its cast and crews, and enviable locations”, she said.
