In this Instagram post, Kardashian revealed her approach to working out. She says that she tries to stay consistent most of the time, but decides to take breaks every couple of months to rest. “I would say every six months, I take two weeks off from lifting,” she wrote. “Sometimes you just need a break to recharge and chill but then I miss it so much and feel so good to be back at it.”
Kardashian has an extremely busy schedule that takes her all over the world. However, she still makes time to exercise. She tells People that she makes time to work out each day. “I work out about an hour-and-a-half every single day, heavy weights, I don’t do a lot of cardio,” she said.
Kardashian is all about consistency when it comes to wellness. Specifically, when it comes to her workouts. She tells People, “I didn’t see results right away, but when you stick with something and you’re consistent, you will. So, I love it.”
Kardashian works with a personal trainer, Melissa Alcantara, to help her stay in shape. Alcantara broke down the socialite’s workout to Women’s Health. “85 percent of our training is weight training, and the other 15 is made up of cardio. Kim loves to work the back of her legs — the hamstrings and the booty!”
Alcantara tells Women’s Health that she and Kardashian set goals with fitness. She says that this keeps Kardashian consistent. “When I work with Kim, we like to set goals that we can feel good about reaching,” she said. “Once we have a goal set, we write it down. I’ve found that helps hold you accountable. And, it feels amazing when you do finally reach your goal!”
