Lady Gaga debuts micro-fringe in an Old Hollywood vibes Instagram
If you didn’t already know (which you totally should), Lady Gaga is set to release a brand new single next month. Yes, I too am internally combusting with excitement. However, that’s not the Gaga news that has us ooh la la-ing on this fine Tuesday afternoon.
Instead, we’re all entranced by the singer’s latest Instagram post, in which she debuts a brand new hair look: the micro-fringe. It may be small, but boy is it mighty. Even Kate Hudson left a little love in the comments of the pic, writing: “Ah this lewk makes me squeeeeel!!! 🤍”. Us too, Kate, us too.
Gaga’s eyebrow-grazing micro-fringe has been styled in a chic bridal updo finished with the biggest feathered headdress we’ve ever seen. It, as well as the flapper fringed dress (mega shoulder pads and all), is giving us all the Old Hollywood glam vibes that Gaga is known for.

Having been in the spotlight for over two decades, it should come as no surprise to hear that this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the A Star Is Born actor rock a fringe. Earlier on in the year, we saw her post a bathroom mirror selfie (as you do), sharing that she had jumped on the curtain bangs hype. And last year, she even got the shortest micro-fringe we’d ever seen.
Her latest look, however, has been paired with a dramatic winged liner, chiselled contour, and red lip, which we can’t help but think Marilyn Monroe would be proud of.
If this is a pre-Chromatica Ball tour look, then we can’t wait to see what she brings to the UK stage in the coming months. I’m sure it’ll be talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before… etc etc…
