Paul Mescal and Phoebe Bridgers have been spotted sharing a romantic moment before a yoga class in Los Angeles amid rumours of their engagement.

he Normal People star (26) and the American singer (27) have been dating since 2020 but only went Instagram official last December before Phoebe spent Christmas with Paul’s family in his native Kildare.

In new photos published by MailOnline, the couple looked more loved-up than ever as they were photographed packing on the PDA on their way to a fitness class in sunny LA.

The pair shared a passionate kiss while they carried their yoga mats from their car.

They were dressed casually for their outing, both wearing long-sleeved t-shirts and a pair of O’Neill’s GAA shorts, while Paul showed off his new mullet and moustache and Phoebe threw her blonde locks in a messy bun.

An onlooker said: “They were wrapped up in each other. They looked like a young couple in love and didn’t care who was watching.”

And despite reports that Phoebe referred to Paul as her “fiancé” as they partied at Coachella’s second festival weekend last month, there was no sign of an engagement ring on the musician’s finger.

News of their rumoured engagement broke when a source tipped off celebrity gossip giant Deuxmoi about the revelation.

The insider, who remained anonymous, said: “Phoebe Bridgers openly introducing Paul as her fiancé at a private Coachella event. Not sure if it’s public knowledge yet.”

Paul was first linked to Phoebe in the summer months of 2020, when they were spotted grabbing brunch together at a café in Kinsale, Co. Cork.

While they were rumoured to be dating, Paul appeared in the music video for Phoebe’s song ‘Savior Complex’, which was directed by Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The video was shared on Phoebe’s official Facebook page, just days after Paul finally revealed that he had a girlfriend during an interview with GQ, describing her as a “lifesaver.”

After making their red carpet debut together in November 2021, the pair officially confirmed their relationship in December with an Instagram post.
