Rebel Wilson channelled Hollywood movie stars of a bygone era when she stepped out for the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The 42-year-old Pitch Perfect actress looked stunning in a figure-skimming floor-length metallic gown.

The silver dress featured fringing along the length of it, while fringing sat draped across the shoulders to create a sleeve effect.

It also featured a cinched-in waistline and scoop neckline, which showed off Rebel’s incredible weight loss.

She carried a black clutch purse and accessorised simply with a gold bangle and a matching ring.

Meanwhile, her long blonde hair was styled loose in finger waves, and worn swept over to one side.

Rebel opted for natural-looking makeup, accentuating her smile with a pop of peach-coloured lipstick.

The Aussie actress made headlines around the world after declaring 2020 her ‘Year of Health’, and has since lost around 35kgs. 

In an interview for Apple Fitness+ in January, Rebel revealed she’d visited an Austrian health retreat to ‘restart’ her body.

She said she experienced ‘a rebirthing of sorts’ after undergoing a water shiatsu massage, describing it as ‘the craziest treatment’. 

‘Basically, you’re in a pool just by yourself but with one Austrian lady. And you kind of have to just close your eyes and lean back and float in the water,’ she explained. 

‘And she kind of drags you around the pool while singing Austrian folk songs, but you can half-hear because your head’s mainly under water.’

She said the treatment lasted for 90 minutes, after which time ‘you have no idea where you are’. 

‘You know logically you’re in the same pool that you were in, but because you’ve been swirled around for 90 minutes in the water, you don’t quite know,’ she added.

‘It’s supposed to symbolise some kind of rebirthing. And it was a very bizarre feeling, but it did feel like you’re in the womb, and then at the end, you come out.’

Rebel confessed that while the treatment was ‘not something I would’ve signed up for by myself’, it was a ‘pretty cool experience’.

She said she visited the retreat with an open mind, deciding to ‘try everything’, and added that the massage had been ‘very relaxing’. 

The treatment involves stretches, massages and acupressure in warm water, which helps to soothe physical tension and encourage relaxation.
