Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire, the three iconic faces of Spider-Man across three different generations are potentially gearing up for a reunion. With the release of the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, a trailer seemed to feature Holland’s, Maguire’s, and Garfield’s Spider-Mans simultaneously.

The pivotal point was that the scenes had been cut from the American version of the trailer and was shown on the official Twitter account of PlayStation Australia. The trailer also references the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and there seems to be a riptide in the multiverses that would soon collide in one of the biggest cinematic events ever!

With the MCU spreading its wings with the release of Phase 5, it seems that the world was merely given a glimpse of what the three actors can do together. The upcoming animated movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse gave the people a glimpse of the glory of the Spider-Mans and what they could achieve together.

In a recently released trailer by PlayStation, glimpses of Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and, Tom Holland swinging around town were included in the video. The hilarious yet suspicious detail was that the scenes of the three actors were cut from the American version of the trailer!

The trailer also seemed to reference the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home when one of the dialogues stated,

“And don’t even get me started on Doctor Strange and the little nerd back on Earth-199999.”

This seemed to indicate that the upcoming movie will most probably be connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the near future.

Tom Holland might be heavily invested in the MCU but as per ancient traditions, he already has had his fill of portraying the role of Spider-Man. Starring as Peter Parker in three movies in the MCU, it would be the time for Holland to pass on the role of the friendly neighbor Spider-Man.

Alongside this, the actor also has some other projects to take care of since his upcoming series The Crowded Room gets a release date and a first photo from the sets. Tom Holland alongside Amanda Seyfried is reported to star in the 10-episode runtime of the series.

The Crowded Room is stated for a release date of 9th June 2023 in the U.S. and has Apple TV+ as the original network of the series.
