Is it time to get the OG Spider-Man gang back together? Sam Raimi, director of the original Spider-Man trilogy, says he’s down to team back up with Tobey Maguire for another Spidey film. “Anything is possible, really anything in the Marvel universe, any team-ups,” Raimi said. “I love Tobey. I love Kirsten Dunst. I think all things are possible.” Raimi added that while he’s not sure if Marvel is “interested in” this idea, it “sounds beautiful.” Maguire, of course, already returned in December’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, leading some fans to call for him to lead a full-on Spider-Man 4. Meanwhile, Dunst — the one person who actually wasn’t in No Way Home — has said she’s up for playing MJ again. Raimi makes his Marvel return directing next month’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so is it possible Maguire actually already reunited with him for a surprise cameo there? Probably not, but after Andrew Garfield’s lies, we don’t know what to believe.
