‘The Kardashians’: Everything We Know So Far About The Upcoming Disney+ Series
Have you missed Keeping Up with the Kardashians since it went off the air? Of course you have, whether you admit it or not (unless you really are impervious to the ever-growing cultural creep of reality television, in which case I salute you). If you, like me, are somehow always aware of what every Kardashian is doing without ever being able to trace just how you gleaned the information, I have good news: Disney+ is set to debut a brand-new series, aptly titled The Kardashians. Below, find all the details on the latest entry into the annals of Kardashian television history.
Is there a trailer for The Kardashians?
Oh, you bet there is. Watch the full thing below.
What is The Kardashians about?
The official log line reads, “Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie bring the cameras back to reveal the truth behind the headlines. From the intense pressures of running billion-dollar businesses to the hilarious joys of playtime and school drop-offs, this series brings viewers into the fold with a honest story of love and life in the spotlight.” Unclear how this will be much different from Keeping Up with the Kardashians or its various spin-offs, but I guess we’ll see!
Who’s involved in The Kardashians?
Kris, Kendall, Kylie, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian will all star. (I know it’s been noted, but man, that’s a lot of Ks.) Travis Barker, Scott Disick, and Kanye West will also appear (however briefly), whereas Rob Kardashian will not (!). And while Kim’s romance with Pete Davidson is heavily referenced in the trailer – “This is a relationship that I don’t think anyone saw coming,” Kris remarks – Kim told Variety earlier this month that they haven’t filmed together. “I’m not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does,” she said. Emma Conway, Elizabeth Jones, and Ben Winston are executive producing with Danielle King serving as showrunner and executive producer.
When will The Kardashians premiere?
The Kardashians will hit Disney+ on 14 April, so keep the night open for some appointment TV.
