If you’re anything like me, your TV-watching as of late has been dominated by sports with the start of the Major League Baseball season, the Masters, and before that, the NCAA tournament. 

That’s the great thing about this time of year—there are so many options, from live events to new premieres and old favorites. ABC, for one, is betting on nostalgia this week when it re-airs the season four finale of Grey’s Anatomy as part of their throwback Thursday programming. Who can resist seeing Derek, Izzie, Karev, George, Lexie, Mark, Callie, and Cristina again? The episode originally aired on May 22, 2008 and was written by Shonda Rhimes. 

For something new, I’m so glad to see Lucy Boynton again. She played Freddie Mercury’s love Mary Austin in Bohemian Rhapsody and now stars in the BritBox series Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? If you’ve already binged Bridgerton, Sanditon, and Call the Midwife, this is for you. 

Meanwhile, Earth Day isn’t for another couple weeks, but Netflix is premiering a multi-episode series about some of the most gorgeous parks and habitats in the world with Our Great National Parks, narrated by none other than Barack Obama. There’s going to be plenty of other Earth Day programming next week, so my recommendation is to watch this one now. As we all know, saving and protecting our planet is not a one-day-a-year occasion. 

And then there’s Tuesday’s new episode of This Is Us, which is so epic and emotional that you won’t believe they packed all that into an hour episode. Written by co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, it’s one of the best episodes the show has ever done. If you thought last week’s episode (called “Saturday in the Park”) was impressive, wait until you see this one. Berger will answer all your questions after Tuesday’s episode, so come back to Glamour.com then as she breaks down all the reveals. 

What else should be on your list of what to watch this week? From the return of The Great Pottery Throw Down on HBO Max to the premiere of The Kardashians on Hulu, there’s something for everyone. Take a look.

Outlander (Starz): The sixth episode of season six is titled “The World Turned Upside Down” and focuses on a dysentery epidemic that has spread across the Ridge. Claire isn’t looking well and Malva just isn’t well, period. With only two more new episodes left after this one, I know we’re in for a wild ride. 9 p.m. ET and on the Starz app

CMT Music Awards (CBS):  Country music’s only entirely fan-voted awards show will be broadcast from Nashville and air for the first time on CBS. Performers include Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, and Ryan Hurd, among others. Tuesday, April 12

This Is Us (NBC): The episode—titled “Katoby”—needs to be watched in real time because it’s that monumental of an episode. It’s also the series’ 100th, and they couldn’t have timed it better. But I’ll let Chris Sullivan (“Toby”) describe this episode best: “We had, like, 65 costume changes each. It spans a certain number of decades. It’s an epic episode in television.” 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT; streaming on Hulu the next day.
