Geordie Shore star Ant Kennedy has revealed that he’s been left with a broken jaw and nerve damage following a “unprovoked attack” which took place in a bar in Ibiza, Spain.

The reality TV star, 28, took to Instagram to explain to his 64,900 followers about what had recently happened to him, before going on to outline the full extent of his horrific injuries and the treatment he has undergone.

Ant explained: “I was attacked by a man and his friend in Lineker sports bar in San Antonio Ibiza! “

He went on to open up about the attack, and was instantly inundated with well wishes from his followers, including many of his celebrity pals.

Who is Ant Kennedy?

Ant, who hails from Newcastle, joined the cast of Geordie Shore in 2020, when he was 26 years old.

He ended up on the show after enjoying a night out with former X Factor contestant and fellow Geordie Shore star Amelia Lily, 27.

Ant previously told Reality Titbit: “I didn’t apply, I just went for a random night out in Newcastle. Walked into a bar, seen a specific young lady called Amelia [Lily]. Me and Amelia were doing the Macarena and Amelia had already found out she was going on the show.”

He then added: “Then from that night out I got asked if I wanted to meet up and go for an interview. So, I had the interview and before you know it, I’m filming, so it’s a bit of a whirlwind experience. It was maybe a couple of weeks before they started filming the show itself.”

Ant, Amelia and Louis Shaw all joined the MTV show for its 21st series, following Sam Gowland and Tahlia Chung’s exits.

Prior to joining the cast of Geordie Shore, Ant worked as a sales executive for automotive retailer Evans Halshaw and W J King Group.

He’s also dabbled in MMA fighting in the past, and he last fought in Total Combat 80 in Spennymoor in August 2019.

He has formed close friendships with his co-stars, including Chloe Ferry, 26. After sharing the video about his injuries on Instagram, Chloe wrote: “Could cry for you,” with a crying emoji.

Amelia added: “Sending you so much love my big brother. You are the nicest guy and did not deserve this at all. Love you so much Ant xxx”.

Many other former Geordie Shore stars flocked to wish Ant well, including Charlotte Crosby.

Charlotte, 31, who recently revealed that she’s expecting her first child, wrote: “You got his ant,” alongside three red heart emojis, while Kyle Christie said: “Hope your okay brother”.
